some happy elephant decor goods

i've been looking at some elephants to adorn my future house. Pier 1 has so many beautiful artsy little elephant friends!! i love pier 1! but a lot of items are also available for cheaper prices on the internet! yay!

these embroidered elephant toss pillows make a big statement that you appreciate that tasteful, yet stylish elephant trend out there! these guys wouldn't go in a country cottage or a victorian royalty setting. these are for the modern or eclectic room (a.k.a. every room in my future house)....

so what if you don't have a modern or moroccan room? take a look at this robin egg blue elephant shelf. this is great for a cottage-y room, a baby room, a bathroom.. pretty easy to slide in just about anywhere. :) if you look closely, this is a relatively simple structure. if you have a jigsaw (or your father or significant other does.. :) ) then you can create the mirror image elephants. fasten them to a thin, straight, and finished piece of wood with nails and wood glue. paint it, create the rustic edge look with some sandpaper and bam! you got your cottage elephant shelf for a fraction of the cost.. the jigsaw may be a little hard to get a hold of though.. hmm..

ok one more.. i just really like this cute pink elephant picture frame. this would be the safest in a little girl's room, but with some other sophisticated surrounding pieces, it can turn up in your living room. just be careful with the other colors around it, so as not to make it look juvenile. get it? :)

well that's all the elephant decor goods for now! i hope you can stumble across cute finds like this and for cheap prices too!

have a wonderful weekend everyone! :)

I really like the pillows... the shelf really isn't me, and the picture frame is pretty cute. :)

the shelf is an idea for people who aren't like us: tribal, eclectic, modern.. it's for the tame!!

Hello Reagan, you may or may not remember me. I'm Kristi, your Uncle Jim and Aunt Rachel's friend. We came to West Virginia a couple of times with them.

So first of all, congratulations on your upcoming wedding. It'll be here before you know it!

And I think it's neat that you love elephants so much. I've enjoyed reading about your love for them.
:)
